The EPS system possesses electronics that are centralized and not located in the parts, digital intelligence that communicates with the components and continuously sends feedback, and controls them. \u003cb\u003eCentralized electronics\u003c\/b\u003e means more stability to the system and less risk of failure and breakdowns due to falls. If malfunctions encounter, the EPS system is capable of automatically detecting a whole range of them. The \u003cb\u003eOn Board Diagnostic\u003c\/b\u003e shows with different colors in a RGB-LED where a malfunction is detected. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSuper Record EPS Rear Derailleur (Max 32t)\u003c\/h3\u003e\nIn the same way as the front derailleur, the rear one also exploits many developments achieved for its mechanical 12-gear predecessor. The same 45° trajectory angle corresponds to an improved change of position that electronically improves chain engagement specific for each sprocket. Better power transmission and less wear and tear of consumer transmission components are just two of the advantages. Compatible with the two 11-29 and 11-32 cassettes, the two pulley wheels have 12-tooth design and the 72.5 mm derailleur cage ensures perfect performance. The slimmer, sturdier structure of the resistant derailleur cage gives more space between the derailleur and the spokes, making it easier to adjust. Moving the chain onto 12 sprockets in the cassette calls for greater precision, given the increased number of chainrings in the same space. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSuper Record EPS Disc Brake Ergopower\u003c\/h3\u003e\nThe shape of the updated brake lever with its new 12-speed design is the result of painstaking studies carried out in the Campy Tech Lab to ensure that, together with positioning of the downshift lever, the cyclist has an intuitive, practical, comfortable \"control center\". The Ergopower Super Record EPS DB controls incorporate the AMS (Adjustable Modulation System), which allows setting of the desired mode and reach adjustment to position the brake lever an optimum distance from the handlebar.\u003cbr\u003eMultishifting technology, namely the option to change several sprockets with in a single shift is now applied to all the 12-speed cassettes. Cyclists can use the \u003cb\u003eMyCampy app\u003c\/b\u003e to personalize the Super Record EPS groupset. The Ergopower control also offers the cyclist total control over how the transmission works thanks to the MODE button (found immediately behind the downshift lever on both right and left-hand controls). The MODE button lets the cyclist check battery charge, make accurate adjustments to gears or derailleur (even while pedaling) and carry out any kind of diagnostic check. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eFlat Mount Disc Brake Calipers\u003c\/h3\u003e\nThe flat-mount Campagnolo brake callipers ensure powerful, modular braking in any situation owing to pistons measuring 22 millimetres in diameter. Brake pad return guaranteed by the magnetic system ensures that there is no friction at the time of brake lever release. A special metal plate positioned between the pad and the calliper piston, cushions the vibrations during braking. \u003cbr\u003eIt is indeed possible to choose the rear brake caliper with a disc measuring either 140 mm or 160 mm in diameter and to use a specific 160 mm front caliper. Additionally, work was done on the insertion of the disc in the caliper to make changing the wheel easier and faster. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eSuper Record EPS Front Derailleur\u003c\/h3\u003e\nIn-depth study by the Campagnolo technical staff for development of the new shape of the cage on the 12-speed mechanical front derailleur is now also applied to the new electronic version, guaranteeing fluid, efficient, reliable shifting.
